add book/author My review / What I learned I am actually really surprised at the high overall rating that this book has. I can appreciate the narrator, and I thought the drawings were cute. I realize that it is a young adult story, but the death and drinking didn't really make it seem like one. It was an okay story, but it was not a book that I felt compelled to finish. Definitely not a page turner, or one that I really felt invested in.
