Wow, what a downer. It took me 200 pages to even get into this book because I hated Dexter so much and didn't really understand why Emma was keeping him around. Then they FINALLY get together, which I knew would happen since I saw someone review that the ending is predictable. That part of the ending maybe, but all of a sudden, BAM! Emma gets hit by a car and she is dead. What the heck?? What a downer.
